To mark Nuit Blanche Edmonton’s debut, Latitude 53 invites Calgary-based artist Sally Raab to Edmonton. Sally Raab received a BFA in drawing from the Alberta College of Art and Design in 2010, and currently resides in Calgary, AB. Philadelphia grown, she maintains a multidisciplinary art practice dealing with notions of the abstracted human body, and had been know to curate the odd show. Her work has been exhibited in Canada and the United States, most recently at ArtScape Gibraltar Point in Toronto, ON and with M:ST 7 in Calgary, AB. She has been involved with a number of local artist-run centres and arts organizations as a board and staff member such as Pith Gallery and Studios, Untitled Art Society, Calgary Arts Development and Mountain Standard Time Festival of Performative Art (M:ST).
